Hedgerow Heroes Project: 2025-26

Over 2km of hedgerow planted and restored across Gloucestershire!

We’re delighted to share that our third season of the Hedgerow Heroes Project is now complete. We surpassed our target, planting and restoring 2,085 metres of hedgerow across Gloucestershire.

Between October 2025 and March 2026, we worked closely with farmers, landowners and volunteers to restore and create hedgerows that benefit people, nature and the climate.

Building on the success of previous years, this season helped connect wildlife habitats, boost biodiversity and tackle climate change by capturing carbon and protecting our countryside for the future.
