Orchard Restoration with the Ernest Cook Trust

We’re partnering with the Ernest Cook Trust and the Severn Trent Biodiversity Fund for our orchard restoration days.

We are working to restore orchards in Halmore near Slimbridge, Gloucestershire. Over the last 60 years, over 75% of orchards have been lost in Gloucestershire. In these sessions, volunteers learn how to prune veteran apple trees, manage mistletoe and help keep these special orchards alive!

Sessions take place every second Friday of the month and are led by orchard expert, Tim Andrews.
