Sheepscombe Guided Walk

EVENT: Stroud District Committee Sheepscombe Guided Walk┃6pm on Wednesday 21 st June 2023

Join us on a summer evening walk through the beautiful Cotswold village of Sheepscombe whilst learning about the area’s rich history from Elisabeth Skinner MBE.

The route will take us through the picturesque sites of Sheepscombe and the woods of St George’s field, with our final stop at the Butcher’s Arm Pub for refreshments.
Approximately 2 hours long with a few steep hills and one stile. Dogs are welcome on leads. Parking at Sheepscombe village hall.

Accessibility: Starting at Sheepscombe village hall and walking up the hill across the Common. Then up to St George’s Field and across to the woods. Next to Laurie Lee Field (Sheepscombe cricket) and then across Saltridge. Around the edge of the woods and back to the Common before heading down the hill towards the Butcher’s Arms Pub as our final destination. There is one stile on the route.
