First Thursday Painswick is an event programme taking place every 1st Thursday of the month at The Painswick Centre, where local authors and writers from further afield are interviewed.

Madeleine Bunting, our new President, is a Director and Interviewer in the events programme. National CPRE’s Chief Executive, Roger Mortlock, is also an Interviewer in the programme. Find out more about the team here.

CPRE Gloucestershire supporters are invited to go along, enjoy a glass of wine, meet the author, have your book signed and meet fellow book lovers!

Stephen Moss: Ten Birds That Changed the World

Thursday 7th December at 7pm | The Painswick Centre

Stephen Moss, one of the UK’s foremost nature writers and a passionate ornithologist, will be talking to Roger Mortlock, CEO of CPRE, at First Thursday Painswick on December 7th at 7pm.

Stephen Moss has written over 30 books, his most recent is ‘The Ten Birds which Changed the World.’ He has also been a producer on ‘Springwatch’ and will be reflecting with Roger on a life’s work of studying birds.
