The Croome Lecture

In February 2021 Chair of CPRE Gloucestershire Patricia Broadfoot FAcSS, CBE delivered the Croome Lecture ‘Challenges for our countryside towards a better vision’.

The Croome Lectures commemorate the life of William Iveson Croome who was “a familiar figure in Cirencester, held in the highest regard by all who knew him, not only for his knowledge and care of ancient buildings but also for his concern for the less fortunate members of society.”

This lecture was hosted by Cirencester Civic Society and Cirencester Archaeological and Historical Society.
