The Berkeley Vale Clean-up – can you help?

30th March 2021

Following the success of our North Cotswolds Clean-up campaign with over 50 residents volunteering to get out and pick up litter in their local area, today we’re launching our Berkeley Vale Clean-up.

Littering the countryside in the UK is a huge problem and one that has increased over the last year. As well as being an eyesore litter can harm or kill wildlife. It can also enter our streams and rivers taking plastics and other harmful materials into our oceans.

The Berkeley Vale Clean Up

Today we are launching a campaign to get local residents involved in cleaning up the area. This will be part of a wider campaign to find solutions to stop the littering in the first place.

Can you help?

We are looking for residents of Berkeley Vale to join our campaign and clear the litter from lanes, roads and hedgerows where you live. We will provide you with a high-vis vest, a litter picker, gloves, and guidance on collecting and disposing of the litter.

If you can help please get in touch by emailing info@cpreglos.org.uk and we will send you more information.

If you are unable to get involved in the Clean-up but would like to support the campaign financially to enable us to provide equipment for our litter picks, you can make a donation here instead.
