| Much of what many consider to be the heartlands of the Cotswolds lies within the boundaries of the CPRE's North Cotswolds District. Hamlets like Maugersbury and Broad Campden, villages such as Naunton and Blockley and market towns of Chipping Campden and Stow on the Wold make up this area. Those who live in the area are especially aware of the need to protect its landscape as well as its historic architectural heritage of its market towns and villages. We campaign very hard to ensure that the government's policies actually protect and perhaps improve the natural landscape and rural communities of the North Cotswolds. |
