The Branch campaigns at County level and runs initiatives such as the best kept village competition. It also works with other CPRE branches in the South West to influence planning policy in the region and in particular the South West Regional Spatial Strategy which will guide the location of new development in Gloucestershire in the years to come.
Our District members campaign to promote CPRE's work in their own areas, e.g. by scrutinising development plans and opposing inappropriate development. They also run social events for members.
