How we work

We’re an environmental charity, with over 200 local groups, a presence in every county and 60,000 members and supporters – including more than 2,000 affiliated parish councils.

Our local knowledge and national profile means CPRE is effective in tackling both the specific issues that really matter to our members and the public, as well as the wider challenges the countryside faces.

Our members are united in their love for England’s landscapes and rural communities, and stand up for the countryside, so it can continue to sustain, enchant and inspire future generations.

CPRE Gloucestershire has 1,200 members.   Supporting the County group are six district groups, with members allocated to the district in which they live.  See “Who’s who” for CPRE Gloucestershire contact details, and a map of the District structure and District Group contact details.

The work of CPRE Gloucestershire is guided by a Business Plan.  A new plan has been produced for the period 2020 – 2023.  A copy can be viewed from the link below.

CPRE Gloucestershire's constitution was revised in 2015 and adopted at the AGM that year.  A copy can be viewed from the link below.
